You practised yesterday, your charts were filling in nicely — and today Klavaro opens with an empty history, as if you had never used it. Before assuming your progress is gone, work through the checks below. In most cases the progress still exists; you are simply looking at a different copy of the program, a…
If you press a key in Klavaro and a different character appears — the classic case is pressing Q and getting A — your keyboard is fine and the program is fine: two layout settings are disagreeing. Klavaro generates its lessons from the layout selected inside the program, while Windows converts your physical key presses…
Some Klavaro lessons contain special characters — accented letters, symbols, characters like µ — and occasionally one of them simply will not count, no matter how many times you press the key. This guide works through the causes in the order worth checking them. If several things seem…
If Klavaro is not working, the cause is almost always one of a handful of known problems: Windows blocks or quietly holds the program, the wrong copy of the app is being opened, the keyboard layout settings disagree, or a display setting makes the program hard to use. This page is the start-here guide for…
