Affiliate Disclosure
Klavaro.org is reader-supported. This page explains, in plain language, how this site earns money, which affiliate programs we take part in, and what that means for you. Last updated: October 2026.
How this site is funded
Running this site costs money — hosting, domains, and the time it takes to test downloads and keep guides accurate. Instead of showing ads, we fund the site through affiliate programs: when you click certain links on this site and then buy a product or sign up for a service, the merchant may pay us a small commission.
Affiliate links on this site are handled through short redirect links under /go/ on this domain, so you can always recognize one before you click it.
Programs we participate in
We participate in the affiliate program for Grammarly and in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program (Amazon Associates), an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon properties.
We may also join affiliate programs offered by typing-software makers, and any program we join will be listed on this page when it becomes active.
What it costs you
Nothing extra. Buying or signing up through an affiliate link costs you exactly the same as going to the merchant directly — the commission is paid by the merchant, not by you. In some cases, an affiliate link may even unlock a discount, but we will never promise one we cannot verify.
Klavaro itself is always free
Klavaro Touch Typing Tutor is free and open-source software released under the GNU GPL v3. Its download links are never affiliate links: our primary download links point to the official SourceForge repository, and the clearly labeled Terabox mirror we offer as an alternative is a plain file mirror, not an affiliate link. You will never need to pay, register, or click an advertisement to download Klavaro from this site.
How affiliate relationships affect our content
They don’t change our facts. Versions, prices, file sizes, and checksums on this site are verified against official sources, and the opinions expressed are our own. We recommend companion tools — such as a grammar checker or a comfortable keyboard — only when we believe they genuinely help people learning to type, whether or not an affiliate program exists for them.
